HELPing the Untouchables

In India, 1 out of every 4 is known as an untouchable. Poor and doing menial jobs or manual labor for their livelihood, their social and economic conditions make them vulnerable to family problems, alcoholism, and suicide. These situations affect the children and youth of the community.

H.E.L.P. was created in December 2017 to reach out with the Gospel of Jesus. In 10 villages H.E.L.P. is sharing Jesus love through counseling services, seminars and classes. These opportunities are completely centered in Christ along with all of the teachings found in the Holy Scriptures, which have been observed to change lives.

Since 2017, more than 200 children have heard the love that Jesus has for them and more are coming every week. The goal is, by the end of the 2019, 500 children and youth will have come together to hear about the love of Jesus for them and their families.

The need is great and Christ for Youth Charities Foundation was glad to hear about H.E.L.P. and be able to provide a grant to help it continue reaching out to bring in more children to the body of Christ.
