Sharing Jesus with Kids
Carole Binder was a founding member of Christ For Youth Charities Foundation, creating an organization that provides funds to make sure that Jesus’ love is shared with children.
Carole was a firm believer in churches proclaiming Jesus in their summer school programs. A mother by vocation and a teacher by degree, Carole knew children could be taught the love of Jesus through Bible school. As a mom she made devotions and church attendance a priority.
Carole wanted Jesus to be the primary message her children heard, especially when they attended programs at church.
Because of Carole’s dedication to her own children with the message of Jesus love for them, and her desire that others hear the love of Jesus, Christ For Youth Charities Foundation sought to create a grant in her memory.
Christ For Youth Charities Foundation provides Carole Binder Memorial Grants in a maximum amount of $500, to supply curriculum, snacks, craft supplies, and various materials for making programs in summer and after-school successful. These grants are typically provided in April – August each year. Grants are available through an application process.
