The Gospel’s Balm—No Matter Where You Live
How can relief be found in a foreign land, surrounded by people speaking an unknown language, with only the familiar faces of family? The answer is in the loving eyes, ears, arms, and hands of those who received this same relief from Jesus in the Gospel.
Volunteers at Christian Friends of New Americans (CFNA) have been serving refugees for 13 years in St. Louis.
Children gather together to hear God’s Word, sing songs, and receive help with their homework so they are able to succeed in school, every Tuesday and Thursday during the school year.
Families connect with CFNA with young children, who grow up in front of the volunteers’ eyes. Relationships are strong and lasting founded in the love of Jesus Christ.
